The Bandits Golf Society was founded in August 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the backing of Easy Tiger Bar and Eurostar Cellar as main sponsors, the first ever BGS event took place the following month in Abu Dhabi City Golf Club where 96 golfers were in attendance. The society is currently sponsored by Park Rotana/Cooper's Bar and Egolf Megastore. The society is currently in its fourth season and has regular monthly main events, a Match Play doubles competition, Ladies Par 3 Scramble events, Cooper's 9 Hole League, 18 hole Order of Merit, Abu Dhabi School's Scramble and Yas Par 3 League.
